HAPPY HOUR RUN
May, 2021
Content Design
May is Family Month in Korea. May 5th is Children's Day, and to lift the spirits of everyone exhausted by the COVID-19 pandemic, we initiated a crew event on Children's Day.
Titled "Happy Hour Run," it's an event where participants run a designated route for a set two-hour period. While running alone, during those two hours, participants exchange light greetings with other runners they encounter along the way.
True to its name, "Happy Hour," the poster is designed with inspiration from McDonald's, as the mention of "Happy Hour" brings to mind food and fast food.
Enjoy finding Mc Donald’s mascot Ronald, from both the teaser and the poster.
Are you ready for our Happy Hour?
The joy of unexpectedly meeting each other while running inspired the planning of this event.
Although they run alone, when passing through the same space, they run “together.”
Routes are posted weekly, and posters are designed to be connected at the conclusion of the third week.
After completing the 3-week running route, participants receive our exclusive Happy Hour gift package.
This package includes two different colors of custom-designed T-shirts.
Design Process
Inspired by fast food and the concept of 'Happy Hour,' we developed various designs that evoke the imagery of hamburgers, french fries, and the joyful atmosphere associated with happy hour. Since our event coincided with Children's Day, we opted for a bold yet friendly font, adding a distinct shape to make it stand out. Font that seemed like written on the chalk board was our another option, but we focused more on emphasizing the main title.
